Hello blog friends.

If there are any of you still following this blog I am sorry I have not posted in almost a year. I am not really great at being a consistent writer. But I do have some stories to tell, 2014 was a crazy year and probably the biggest thing I did was move to St. George. I decided that it was time for a change and asked Grandma and Grandpa if I could live with them while I went to cosmetology school. They very kindly accepted, so I quit my job, packed up my stuff and Mom and the kids helped me make the move. I moved into the spare room on August 22, 2014. It was very hard to leave my family and friends in Orem, probably the most stressful part for me was not having a job to replace the one I had left behind. However my family here were all very helpful and loving, they tolerate my craziness and have all been very generous with their time and resources.

This picture was taken about a month after I moved in.

Due to problems with my financial aide I was not able to start school right away. I eventually found a job with the help of my cousin Ashley. I am now happily working and saving money for school which I hope to start in September of 2015.

The next biggest event that happened was the marriage of my best friend Kayla. She met her husband in March of 2014 and they were married in August, and I was the maid of honor. She is now expecting her first son and I am so excited for her and her husband.

Kayla and I on her wedding day.

I have also made several steps in becoming a real life adult like person. I am currently living in my very own studio apartment. I was fortunate enough to be able to move into the apartment behind my grandparents home with the help of my wonderful family. They all helped me paint and move all my junk. I also have purchased my very first car! With the help of Christina and Ryan I picked out my wonderful Red VW Bug who we named Louie. I have always wanted a bug and Christina and Ryan put in a lot of time to help me purchase my dream car. I can never thank them enough!! They are both so sweet and a true blessing in my life.  They also got the wonderful job of teaching my how to drive a manual. There were some bumps along the way but we all made it.  They were both very patient and awesome teachers!!

Louie and I

So life has changed a lot but it has changed for the better. I am happy to be living on my own as an independent women, and am very excited to start school. I hope that I can post more frequently but no promises. :)  I love you all so much, thank you for all your love and support.

Music

Over the past few weeks I have been listening to a lot of music. It all started when I put together a list to play at the Lady's wedding reception. Music is a very funny thing, it is similar to smell in the way that a certain song can remind you of a moment in time or person. Today I am listening to the CD that I received at my Aunt Sarah's bridal shower, much of the music that I love was actually introduced to me by her. She has a  fabulous taste in music. I remember one year on my birthday she gave me several mix CDs of her favorites which I treasured greatly. So as I listen to Ben Folds and Lisa Loeb today I am thinking of you Aunt Sarah. I love you!

Why?

Too short, too expensive, ugly, ill fitting, and annoying.
There are no skirts or dresses for me out there.
I am pretty sure that not everyone wants a mini skirt.
Also fat people can be tall too just saying.
Any plus size readers have suggestions? Where do you buy your skirts?
If you have any suggestions please SHARE THE LOVE!!!!!!!!

Seriously I'm desperate!
Love Krystal

The march post

I needed a post in March. Did you know that if you plug a phone into your land line even if it is a different phone it will still be the same number. You did? Well I do now too. Sometimes I act like i have no brain it's excellent.

Search on

I feel like blogging but I really have nothing exciting to share.
It is a problem.
My life is pretty boring actually, also there are a lot of other more interesting things out there to read. I have been enjoying the blogs of others and felt greedy, I take joy from their musings and yet I have no joy to return.

Once again we are back to the problem, nothing to really talk about. :O
Oh dear.

Here is food for thought, soon I will have reached the ripe old age of nineteen. NINETEEN!!!!!!!!
It seems unbelievable to me, but I have always felt older than I am. Even as a child I would often sit and listen to the adults stories instead of running around. I always would rather listen then talk, write instead of speak, and observe instead of experience. I feel I indeed have an old soul.

Not many people truly know me, and I can't really say I know a lot of people. The saying you have to give to receive applies here. I do not let people in easily and so i can not expect them to do the same for me. I am a social person and like to be around people but I am a listener not a talker. I like to observe and have a pretty good memory for faces and personalities.

I am not exceptionally funny my humor is dry and far between. I dislike the way my laugh sounds and the way my teeth look when I am laughing. Getting older makes you think about the person you are, the person you want to be, and the person other people think you are.

This post feels melancholy.
If you were searching for joy, search on.

The doldrums

I have been caught up in the doldrums, this weekend has turned me into a Lethargarian.
For those who don't know what I am talking about please refer to the Phantom Tollbooth.
It seems the only thing I want to do is nothing.
I need the watchdog to come and save me.

Happy Days

Happiness is when a show ends! Footloose is finally over! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and life is good. Sorry about the "I" post, not sure how that happened.
