The Run-Around

Yesterday I attempted to see the school counselor. Attempted being the key word there. A new term had started and so a new set of classes came along with it. Only to my surprise I was taken out of my math class and my science class and given a full schedule of electives which I did not choose and did not want to take. So I decided to do the logical thing and email my counselor to set up an appointment to correct their error. I see my mistake now, why would I do the logical thing in the school that will never work! Oh silly me.
So the counselor emailed me back and said " oh just come to my office and we can fix it." So following the instructions given to me off I went to the counseling center. I asked the secretary if I could please set up an appointment to talk to the counselor. The women looked at me like I had just asked her to climb Everest. "what do you need to talk to her about" she asked me. My schedule I replied. She then proceeded to tell me that no schedule changes were allowed since the semester had already started. I explained my situation and told her that the counselor had asked to meet with me. Oh what an inconvenience I am! She went to see if the counselor was free. I waited patiently slightly annoyed, little did I know that the annoyance would not end there. When the secretary returned I was told that the counselor told her to tell me that I had to see an administrator. So not only did I not fix my schedule the counselor would not even see me.

The saga continued today. So I set up an appointment with an administrator. But I the only reason I even got to talk to her was because Agnes told her that she needed to talk to me. The administrator then proceeded to tell me that she could not change my schedule and that I would have to see a counselor. I told her that the counselor had sent me to her. She sent me back to the counseling office.

Round Three
I went back to the counseling office... NO ONE WAS THERE!!! They must have seen me coming.
So I went back to the main office and asked them if they knew where all of the counselors were. I was told that they were in a meeting and would not be done until eleven or twelve. So since I did not know what class I was supposed to be in I went home.
I went back at eleven-thirty and asked for an appointment. The counselor was doing and seop and would not be done for quite some time, or so I was told be the secretary. So I asked if I could meet with her at noon tomorrow. Sure she said, regarding what? My schedule I replied, Well you have to have a note from the administrator, she said. So I explained to her that I had just gone to see an administrator and that they had sent me here. "Well why didn't you say that in the first place?" she asked. Why indeed! So I still have no schedule and have not actually seen the counselor. Apparently it was "let's see how confusing and frustrating we can make Krystal's life day"
Hopefully be tomorrow this can all be resolved if not I might go in to the counseling office and toilet paper all of their desks.
