Funnies

A funny moment from Kimberly

Mom: Kimberly you can not wear this to school it looks terrible
Kimberly: That's not fair! Krystal gets to wear ugly clothes to school all the time!!!!

Kincade's moment

From his all about me book, This summer my dad took me fishing and I caught a cat fish as big as my arm.
He has a good imagination!
He also wrote that we have ten people in our family including the dogs Hidi and Loosey.(exact spelling)

A text conversation between me and Kaitlyn on Halloween

Me: what are you doing?
Kaitlyn: hanging a barn.
Me: don't let it fall on you or you will lose your ruby slippers!
Kaitlyn: Real cute. Thanks alot.

Mom's call at work from Dad

Dad: Um Kaleb stabbed himself in the kitchen
Mom: What were they doing? Having a gang fight?

And the best of all
On the air unaware Kristopher
One day while I was listening to my playlist and Kristopher thought I could not see him dancing in the doorway to the song. Everytime I turned around he would duck out of sight, but as luck would have it my camera was sitting right next to me and I caught this little video.

Dear Maceys Shoppers

Dear Maceys shoppers,
As your bagger or checker I feel it is my duty to tell you that sometimes I want to kick you out of the store. When I ask you if you would like paper of plastic please wait until I am finished saying it before you respond. For those of you that use WIC I cannot give you something that we are out of or that is not on the WIC list and No i don't care that you have gotten it here a million times before we still cannot give it to you!!!! The person that gave it you was probably just sick of you complaining and wanted to get rid of you. When you come in at midnight with a 300 dollar order please don't complain that you are still here and that the person bagging your order is so slow. We would like to be in bed too. Please keep your children under control WE ARE NOT BABYSITTERS!!!!!!!!!! For example do not send your children over to play at Maceys while you get you hair cut. Please do not try and run me over while I am doing carts. Please do not stand in line while your husband runs around the store collecting items that your forgot. Don't complain that the ATM will not work when you have no money to take out and then try to go to the pharmacy because you think it's a bank and try and get money. The express line is 10 items or less not 75. Please do not try to pay a 50 dollar order in coins. If you do not want an item please give it to us and we will take care of it. Do not hide 5 half gallon containers of ice cream underneath the end of the check stand where we can not see it so it melts all over and makes a huge mess.
Thank you
- your Maceys checkers and baggers

Disneyworld 2009 post #1

The Disneyworld post! Well the first one at least. Yay finally! Anways so in Febuary I went with my drama program to Disneyworld! On this trip I discovered that I hate planes! I think I hate them because I feel like I am not in control of where I sit or whom I sit with, also not being able to check on my own stuff really stresses me out. I'm the type of person who goes through there purse several time while on an outing to make sure I have not lost anything. Also airports are filled with weird people, which I experienced first hand. After my mom dropped Kayla, Vienna, and I of at the airport we sat in front of the baggage check to wait for the rest of our group. Three more people showed up and we were having a conversation, when we heard an argument. We turned around and saw a Korean man and women fighting over a purse. The man would not let go of the purse so the women told the lady at the luggage counter that she did not know the man and that he would not let go of her purse. The woman spoke English the man did not. So while they waited for security to come the man sat down on a suitcase still holding on to the purse mind you. He began to talk on a cell phone in Korean. When security showed up a few minutes later the guard asked the man to let go of the purse, he refused. So the officer asked the women to let go of the purse which she did. With a triumphant yell the man clutched the purse to his chest then the police officer knocked his legs out from under him and two more officers fell on top of him. They stood the man up and led him away, then an officer on a bike came pedaling into the airport and leaves a huge tire mark on the floor as he jumps of his bike. The bike officer then approached us and asked us to fill out a witness report. It was very frightening for me. Crazy airport people.

Spirit Bowl

Today at my school is the 2009 spirit bowl! It is a huge competition between the classes and there are two awards, the spirit bowl, and the spirit title. The spirit bowl means that you did the best all year, the spirit bowl means you did the best at the actual spirit bowl activity. Last year the seniors won the spirit bowl, and the sophomores won the spirit title for the first time in Timpanogos history! I am hoping that we can win it again this year. So for spirit bowl everyone decks out in their class colors. So today I am wearing alot of blue. We also have a modified schedule spirit bowl takes about two hours out of our schedule so each of our classes are a little under an hour, plus a 30 minute lunch. I am so excited! Right now I am actually in a class but the teacher did not prepare anything for us to do so I thought I would share my enthusiasm and also update my blog! Spirit Bowl is the best!

Anyways so this week has gone by super slowly probably because I am looking forward to spring break. I love spring break I just wish that we had spring weather! Who wants snow in April? NOT ME! and I only have to work one day next week so that is definitely a plus.

On a different topic, has any one else heard the taser party advertisements on the radio? If you have not I will explain it to you. People want to have taser party to earn extra cash. A taser party?! I guess it's kind of like a Tupperware party but with tasers. I think that is the weirdest thing ever! Don't you have to have a license to carry a taser? How many people are walking around with tasers? Apparently it's a common thing because they are having parties to sell them. I also think it's a little scary... how many people are being tasered by overprotective moms and paranoid college students? Weird...

Okay well I hope you all have enjoyed this post. Maybe you laughed or just thought "oh my goodness this girl is out of her mind!" either way I hope you enjoyed it! I will post some pictures from the spirit bowl later. And my next post is going to be about my Disney World trip so be on the look out for that one. I love you all!

Hello, please leave a message after the beep

Okay so right now I am sitting at the computer and the stupid answering machine is beeping. It is so obnoxious!!!!! My brother who is sitting right next to it won't push the button and make it stop because he is obnoxious so the obnoxious beeping does not bother him they speak the same language. Anyways so another thing that bothers me about answering machines is when people do personal greetings, such as "Hello you have reached Kayla Cannon please leave me a message and I will call you back". Well obviously I have not reached this person because I am talking to their answering machine! What it should say is hello you have reached Kayla Cannon's voice mail which I never check anyway so you should probably just hang up now! Kayla Cannon is my best friend and that is the greeting on her phone. She never checks her voice mail and it drives me crazy!
Anyways so Kristopher buttoned his own shirt today, twenty minutes later he tied one of his own shoes. It made me laugh so hard! At least he does not have to have a special ed helper button and unbutton his pants so he can go to the bathroom. He will get his hard cast on Monday so he should be able to manage a little bit better.
